edition 015 - curating your life in style, how to be a best friend, and finding the one thing that lights up your entire world.

☺︎ journal question is there a way i can express myself + my own style much more deeply in my work?

☺︎ daily habit hand on heart, thank your heart for doing all the work it does behind the scenes to keep you healthy.

☺︎ wellbeing challenge shift up your daily ‘go-to’ foods, and add in something that is different from your normal diet that is even healthier for you (dragon fruit? papaya? eggs? brazilian nuts?).

☺︎ weekly stillness schedule a day this week (1hr+) to sit with your thoughts and write down all crazy beautiful wild ideas you have in you. think : goals, business ideas, party ideas, perspectives, desires etc.

there’s a quiet revolution that happens the moment you discover the one thing that truly drives you.

it's not always loud or dramatic.. but it changes everything.

the stress that used to hum constantly in the background starts to dissolve—not because life gets easier, but because your energy has direction. purpose becomes a compass, not just a concept.

you wake up with a knowing, a pull, a reason—and suddenly the mundane feels meaningful.

when you're aligned with your drive, it’s like someone turned the lights on in a room you didn’t realize you were sitting in the dark.

conversations become richer, ideas come quicker, and even the hard days feel worth it.

life doesn’t just look different—it is different.

fulfillment comes not from chasing everything, but from honoring the one thing that sets your soul on fire.

the thing is out there for you (if you haven’t already found it) - you know it. it’s a good time to get aligned and light up your world.

to have a stylish life doesn’t mean you need to acquire things other people deem as ‘stylish’.

being stylish truly means being authentic. being you.

it’s having the confidence and the ability to rock your own curated way of life, and to be unapologetic about it.

some of the most stylish people out there stand out because of their difference from the rest of society - or the way society may think.

they had the audacity and the bravery and the care to decide to bring in a new, unknown way of being/living/wearing/expressing things that in the end made them.. them.

your ideas and your work and your expression is your style.

so make sure it’s yours - and have the deep belief in it to show it proudly to the world.

i attended a celebration of life service this weekend.

it was for a good friends mom. it was truly beautiful - and there were so many people there - and people who loved her so dearly.

and the most beautiful thing that this amazing woman had done in her life was create community.

she was the one who brought incredible people together, and nourished the relationships she had in her life.

one thing that we know about life is that community creates healthier humans. some of the eldest communities in the world have a life revolved around their social life.

a few small ideas on how to be a good friend:

  1. be the one to reach out and check in (especially if it’s been months)

  2. be the one to make the plans and gather friends.

  3. be the one to let their guard down around others, and be vulnerable (you never know when someone needs a role model in this).

a good friend is one who allows people to be themselves. they meet them there - and they support and cherish their people however possible.

something new i’m allowing is more softness. especially in the spaces that used to be guarded. i’m learning that softness doesn’t make me less strong - if anything, it makes me more powerful.

something i invested in this week was an incredible night away with my sister (i asked her to be my maid of honour and she said yes!!!!). we went to the elora mill and spent a day getting pampered at the spa + hanging by the pool in 24 degree weather. it was everything i needed for my heart and my soul. tiktok + instagram updates and more fun details on this to follow.

something new i’m seeing results from is my facial cupping exercises. it’s been 2 weeks + and i no longer have small blackheads under my skin, it is increidbly soft, and my entire face feels more plump and alive. it’s especially great when i et intentional, and see the practice as some extra love for me + my body, that adds a deeper connection to myself. don’t cup yet? try it out with these cups and with this video.

something new i’m returning to is my morning stillness. no screen, no noise. just me, my morning matcha, and the sky shifting into day. it changes how i move through everything.

you guys are seriously the best.
