THE PAUSE : on the inside
edition 022 - how our inner world guides us, when it’s time to take back your mind, and insights into building your best mind-set.
THE PAUSE
PSA! reply to this email with your answer to this week’s journal prompt. i read every one.

☺︎ pause this song - it deserves the pause.
☺︎ journal prompt how is the universe asking me how badly I want my ideal future? how am I showing up in response to the challenge?
☺︎ thought process our thoughts are not our personality.
☺︎ daily habit write one thing daily this week that you are going to have in your future.
☺︎ wellbeing kick take a drive to somewhere beautiful in nature.
☺︎ letter writing write a love letter to your future self - to the one who is already living the life you’re creating right now. what do you want them to know? ask them how they feel. (thanks to Catherine Cramer for this week’s prompt)

close your eyes.
feel your body.
feel your mind.
wiggle your big toe.
it’s all yours - and this is all here working for you all the time. on good days, on bad days.
you were given the gift of life - and the gift of already knowing what it is you are meant to do.
so tap in. set your tuner to self.
and write, baby. write all the things that you need to hear right now.

they say your mind is always lying to you.
that the voice speaking to you in that tone of ‘it’s not good enough’, or ‘you need to be doing more’ - is just a construct of who you think you are/ who you’ve been told to be.
you are the person underneath the voice.
the one who craves real, deep love. the one who is extremely content simply being alive, simply breathing or spending time with those you love.
because the truth is, we are all whole exactly as we are. we all have a purpose for being alive that isn’t tied to things we do - it’s tied to love.
when we leave this earth, we leave feelings and memories behind. that’s how you are remembered; through connection.
so the next time your mind tells you you’re not good enough, or what is this all even for? ask yourself how many people love you, and how many people’s lives you impact positively just by being alive.

although we know our minds aren’t us, they still direct a lot of our emotions and our drive.
in order to keep our minds aligned with what we desire in life, the best thing we can do is not allow it to bring us down.
so when life gets extra tough, I have some eye-opening questions I ask myself to give myself perspective.
these allow me to see past the tunnel vision of the tough situation, and open up to more abundance.
the questions I ask myself when things get tough or sticky:
what is this teaching me?
how amazing could the reward will be on the other side of this toughness?
what else can I find gratitude for in my life, that helps to balance this situation in my mind?

♡ something new i’m killing it at is using an app for everything i need to remember - both personally and professionally. the app is called monday and i highly recommend it to anyone needing to track tasks. it alleviates any stress in your mind and puts everything down so you can have your mind free + open at all times.
♡ something i invested in this week was another trip to portugal this fall (to visit our wedding venue!) - and i invested in a beautiful 3 day beachfront stay to kick off the entire trip. will be sharing on my socials insta and tiktok - so follow along.
♡ something i’m seeing big results from is my theraface red light therapy mask. i’ve mentioned it to you before, and now it’s been over 2 months that i have had it (and i’m consistently using it 4x a week). i cant believe how my face has changed - both in texture and in eradicating imperfections (acne) on my face (which i often get just before my cycle). so i’m very, very pleased. the ideal thing about this red light mask is that it doesn’t only have red light therapy, it also offers blue light, which zaps any bacteria that causes acne.
♡ something new i’m returning to is pausing more. after our engagement party (and all the wildly fun yet time consuming planning i had to do), i am settling into more quiet spare time instead of filling it with research/reading/tv/etc. because that’s the space i am in right now + craving ♡
if this edition moved you at all, send this to someone you love. or send it to someone that you were reminded of during this edition of the pause.
rest until i see you next ♡
