THE PAUSE : the wild side of being you
edition 007 - getting wild, the reality of you that you've been forgetting to nurture, and a reminder of what's important
THE PAUSE
let’s kick this week off with playing this song while you read this email. ♡

there’s something so grounding about coming back to nature - raw, wild, uncut
no edits and no need to impress the trees with words
it acknowledges me being just as wild as it is.
life has a funny way of placing boundaries on us we never asked for
and tugging on us to become more polished, polite, more standard
something we were never meant to be.
instead, i walk my designer boots into the mud
and get grass stains on my white sneakers while landing from a skydive,
a reminder that no-thing matters more than your desire to live wildly.
there’s nowhere to go in life, but into connection -
to seek a deeper meaning, rather than more things or more filters on who you are,
a connection to what’s innately, wildly, you.

♡ pause hand on your heart, eyes closed, spend 30 seconds like this first, then ask yourself : what have i forgotten about myself?
♡ journal question what is my fondest memory of myself at work?
♡ thought process i’ve always known the things that make the the happiest in my life.
♡ daily habit say thank you to the little kid in you for keeping you playful.
♡ wellbeing challenge breathing into an area of your body that needs your attention this week (it’s probably the area you’ve been avoiding connection with)

me, letting go?
but who will i be?
living safely has gotten so used to me..

a quick exercise for those wanting to feel deep joy right now, by remembering their innermost desires..
i feel the most alive and myself when i am _____________.
i feel the most connected to life when i am _____________.
i feel the most in love when ________________.
i feel so fulfilled every time i _____________________.

♡ something new i needed to do as a toxin-free gal was throw out our old bed covers that were made with 70% polyester (eek), and replace them with 100% bamboo viscose, all natural, toxin free sheets. we sleep half our life in our beds - so let’s make ‘em fresh.
♡ something (not) new i have been doing for 6 months is filtering out my shower water with a proper filter that hooks onto my shower head. i live on a farm with a well so this is a huge addition to my self care because my water is naturally very hard, which is so bad for your skin.
rest until i see you next ♡
